There is no shortage of facilities to keep even the most active occupied. Facilities include

• a fabulous swimming pool with pool alarm

• a private all weather tennis court (with some rather old rackets – but bring your own balls!)

• a croquet lawn – slightly eccentric in the lie of the land, but it makes for a thoroughly enjoyable though slightly unpredictable game

• children's swings

• golf clubs (but bring your own balls!)

• indoor games.

It is also wonderful country for walking. You can go for hours - along made up roads or across country - without seeing a soul
